The use of miscella oil refining process for cottonseed oil can help remove gossypol in the process, reduce refining losses, improve oil color, improve product quality, simplify oil processing, and have better results than other refining processes. This is more suitable for refining specific oils of cottonseed oil.
Take the cottonseed miscella (containing cottonseed crude oil and extraction solvent) after a steaming and desolventization as the raw material, the messia is alkali-refined with sodium hydroxide solution, and then centrifuged and desolventized to obtain the finished cottonseed oil. The influence of liquid mass fraction, superalkali content, alkali refining temperature and alkali refining time on the refining yield of cottonseed oil and the color of finished oil.
