Dingsheng Machine Introduces Complete Flaxseed Oil Production Line Solutions
Date:Sep 30th, 2024
Flaxseed oil contains a beneficial amount of linolenic acid, with a ratio of linolenic acid to linoleic acid at 1:4, which is advantageous for human health. However, linolenic acid is highly sensitive to heat and prone to oxidation. When the critical temperature is exceeded, its activity begins to deteriorate. Therefore, the production of flaxseed oil requires a cold-press physical extraction method without any heat treatment. This method preserves the activity of linolenic acid, ensures that no additives are used, and maintains the natural quality of the raw materials.
Raw Material Preparation
Due to the unique process of cold-pressing flaxseed oil at room temperature, strict raw material requirements must be met. Fresh, plump flaxseeds should be selected, while immature, damaged, moldy, or aged seeds should be avoided.
The selected flaxseeds are first cleaned to remove impurities and residues. Once cleaned, the flaxseeds are air-dried in preparation for pressing.
Crushing and Soaking
The dried flaxseeds are then crushed to make the oil extraction easier. The crushed flaxseeds are soaked to enhance oil yield, with the soaking time typically lasting 20-30 minutes at a temperature of around 40°C.
Physical Cold Pressing
The soaked flaxseeds are placed in a pressing machine for extraction. During the pressing process, both pressure and temperature must be carefully controlled to prevent the loss of nutrients. This process yields flaxseed oil and residue.
Filtration and Decolorization
The extracted flaxseed oil is filtered to remove impurities and residues. To further improve the quality and taste of the oil, decolorization is required. During this process, adsorbents such as activated carbon are used to remove pigments and odors from the oil.
Refining and Packaging
After filtration and decolorization, the flaxseed oil undergoes refining to eliminate odors and remaining impurities. The refined flaxseed oil is then packaged to ensure quality and hygiene are maintained.
Customized Flaxseed Oil Production Line Solutions
Dingsheng Machine offers customized flaxseed oil production line solutions to meet specific customer needs. Our equipment boasts high processing capacity, low failure rates, and high working efficiency. Continuous operation is fully guaranteed, and the equipment has a long service life, maximizing economic benefits and production capacity for customers.
Cold-Press Flaxseed Oil Production Line Technology
Dingsheng Machine provides cold-press flaxseed oil production technology, which typically does not require chemical refining. Instead, the process involves hydration degumming, activated carbon dephosphorization, cooling, filtration, and dewaxing. This method avoids the use of chemical refining processes like alkali refining, clay decolorization, and high-temperature vacuum deodorization, thereby preserving the quality of the flaxseed oil.
