Dingsheng Machine Unveils Advanced Cottonseed Protein Degossypolization Process

Dingsheng Machine is excited to introduce its cutting-edge cottonseed protein degossypolization process, which includes key technologies such as low-temperature pre-treatment, cottonseed oil extraction, and cotton cake degossypolization. This process is essential for ensuring high-quality cottonseed oil and protein while effectively removing gossypol—a naturally occurring toxin in cottonseed.
Dingsheng Machine’s extraction technology uses a dual-solvent method to gradually extract both cottonseed oil and gossypol, ensuring complete desorption of gossypol while maintaining the integrity of the oil. This process reduces free gossypol content to below 0.04%, with a total free gossypol consumption level in the cottonseed protein of less than 0.06%. Additionally, the process removes aflatoxins from cottonseed during storage, further ensuring product safety and quality.
After oil extraction, the moist meal undergoes degossypolization, reducing consumption while preserving the protein’s quality by preventing denaturation. This ensures stable product performance. Dingsheng Machine's equipment has a production capacity ranging from 100 to 1,000 tons per day, meeting diverse industrial needs.
Key Features of the Cottonseed Protein Processing Technology:
1. Super Dehulling System: Our advanced multi-stage wind-sifting dehulling system ensures that the kernel contains only 1-3% shell, easily adjustable. This allows the protein content to be adjusted between 60-65%.
2. Pre-treatment Expansion: The addition of expansion equipment enables seamless switching between high- and low-temperature protein production.
3. Wet Meal Treatment: The process uses our independently developed ATLAS de-liquefaction machine, reducing the heat exchange area of disc dryers, and lowering both steam and cooling water consumption.
4. Desolventization Section: We use segmented treatment for mixed vapors in the desolventization section, while equipping the extraction workshop with oil refining capabilities, allowing for direct production of grade 3 cottonseed oil.
5. Solvent Recovery: Beyond traditional freezing recovery of free gases, we have incorporated paraffin adsorption recovery, significantly reducing solvent consumption.
