Dingsheng Machine Introduces Chain Extractor for Efficient Oilseed Extraction

The chain extractor, a derivative of the annular extractor, is widely used for extracting oil from various oilseeds. The material is turned as it moves from the upper layer to the lower layer, allowing for more uniform and thorough extraction. This reduces the extraction time, while leaving minimal solvent and low residual oil in the wet meal. Both the drive and driven shafts use self-aligning roller bearings, and the drive system can either utilize a chain sprocket or hydraulic transmission.

2. Exceptional permeability with a residual oil rate as low as 0.6-0.8%.
The extraction process in the chain extractor follows a countercurrent pattern. Spray pipes are distributed along the upper layer, with varying numbers and arrangements depending on the extractor's length. The spray sequence progressively intensifies in concentration. Two spray pipes are placed near the chain and sprocket engagement point to rinse the scraper, chain, and the residual material in the sprocket teeth. Additionally, these pipes ensure thorough rinsing and soaking of the material as it drops from the upper to the lower layer. In the lower layer, fresh solvent is introduced through two spray pipes, with a drainage distance of 6000mm.
The material enters the upper extraction section of the extractor, where five sets of rake devices loosen the material at various stages. Oil troughs located below the grid plates create a natural concentration gradient for the mixed oil. When the material tumbles to the lower layer, it undergoes the same extraction conditions as the upper layer. This ensures an ideal extraction process and optimum performance.
