COCONUT OIL PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY

COCONUT OIL DRY PROCESS
- Peel and husk the coconut to get the coconut meat inside.
- The coconut meat is processed into dried coconut by air drying or stoving, or it is ground and dried into shredded coconut.
- Virgin coconut oil is obtained by pressing dry or grated coconut in an oil press.
- Physical refining of virgin coconut oil to obtain edible coconut oil.
COCONUT OIL WET PROCESS
- Get fresh coconut meat and juice it.
- The coconut milk is heated and centrifuged to obtain coconut cheese.
- The coconut cheese is heated, evaporated and concentrated, and then centrifuged again to obtain coconut oil.
- The coconut oil is centrifuged again and dried to obtain pure coconut oil.
- Because the process requires three times of centrifugation, there are supercritical extraction methods, etc., of which the coconut oil using the hydrogenation process is relatively of the lowest quality.
